Very pretty waterfall!! Fairly easy to access

Once you arrive in the town it is worth going a little longer to visit the Tower, formerly part of a residential building. One of the testimonies of the ancient life of the Valley.

The Torre Fiorenzana is almost certainly the oldest building in Grono. The first records date back to 1286 and 1314. It was part of a complex of fortifications which also included a small church. A small detour is certainly worth it.

The Bocchetta del Notar, at 2098 meters above sea level, connects the Cama valley, on the Swiss side, and the Bodengo valley, on the Italian side. The itinerary is also known as "Via dei Crotti" and since the 19th century it has been widely used by smugglers, the spalloni, for their trade between Italy and Switzerland.

The Fiorenzana tower is almost certainly the oldest building in the village of Grono, once part of a fortified complex also including a small church.

The Alp de la Piazza refuge is located in a clearing at 1535 m. Recently renovated from an old mountain pasture, the refuge is not guarded but is accessible. Inside there is a kitchen, a stove, three bunk beds.

The path passes under two gigantic boulders that form a short natural tunnel, called Sass de la vegia.
