It's best to arrive straight away by train, as the Mariazellerbahn is one of the most beautiful railway routes in Austria. You can start the hike through the Ötschergräben at different stations and return from another. A stop at Ötscherhias is also part of it.

July 14th, 2021 - Today it was time again, a visit to the famous Green Lake was announced, but only around the lake, which actually has very little water, was not enough for us, so we planned a circular route where we then had a large view of the lake from above were allowed to enjoy, just great, this time too few visitors or hikers were on the way!
