A very varied and steep ascent and descent. Set in idyllic surroundings. You simply have to take in the scenery.

A fantastic stretch of the Alps from east to west. Traffic was light to moderate during the week. Going uphill would have been possible too, but the road is quite narrow, especially when trucks are overtaking.

Alpine ascent with steps and ropes. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are definitely necessary, but with a certain level of fitness it is absolutely doable

Beautiful racing bike route with an impressive panorama in Sibratsgfäll

The ascent was very well renewed by the Alpine Club after the mudslide disappeared in 2022. New wooden steps were installed. However, part of the comparatively less steep part is now in the shade in autumn and is therefore muddy and slippery. A hiking stick is helpful here. A beautiful path with great views and variety for experienced hikers.

When hiking the Nagelfluhkette, this is one of the more pleasant gaps!

There is no other suitable route from Austria to Sibratsgfäll on a racing bike.... --- the view of the Gottesacker Walls and the Hoher Ifen naturally has its appeal, especially if you've already been up the mountain!

Great hill. From here it goes downhill again. Either towards Sibratsgfäll or Hittisau.
