Whatever is meant by the highlight “Have fun”… if the Northshore Line called “Holzwurm” is meant: yes, fun, especially for beginners, and really nicely laid out.

The Kofel is a 1342 m high mountain in the Ammergau Alps in Bavaria. Due to its exposed location and striking shape, it can be seen from afar from the Ammergau and from the direction of Ettal. The summit is only about one kilometer as the crow flies from the center of Oberammergau.

This is not an S1 trail. This is S2. I think most bikers have to dismount at the lowest part, because very few will "jump" here.

Beautiful, easy S1 trail. Rooty, flowing and small jumps. Shortly before the end there is a big mud hole. I think that's supposed to be the "pig hole". Easily accessible via a car park near Hausen (near Wildsteig) then onto the Königsweg and, depending on your taste and time, choose one of the eastern uphills. The way back is idyllic, it goes through beautiful meadows, forests and through the odd stream. Easily doable even for not so totally fit bikers.

A few sections are absolutely gorgeous. But most of it is really difficult or even partially impossible to ride. I think S2 is an understatement. Photos don't do the route justice, there are some technical problems. Stairs at the end super slippery when wet. But one of the most beautiful hiking or bike pushing routes;)

Very well-built, varied downhill route in the Oberammergau bike park. Like everything there, it's nice and steep with roots, fast curves, a few wooden bumps and jumps. The biggest features are a stepdown and a few medium drops (all of which can also be driven / rolled). Only a gap jump can definitely not be dropped, but must be jumped with sufficient speed. But there is a bypass right next to it. Officially a black runway, but as I said, everything is mobile. Due to the steep root steps and the sometimes exposed, fast curves, beginners probably have less fun but rather a few carrying passages ahead of them. For advanced skiers it is a really fun route.
