The rock formation of the Hollenkammer is beautiful and impressive. It's relatively easy to climb from the rear.

Things are getting a bit fluffy here. Be careful on wet paths

Well signposted and moderately difficult circular route with changing terrain. Sure-footedness and sturdy shoes are advisable, the route is not wheelchair accessible. Interesting nature and rock formations with four stations and corresponding information boards - recommended.

Below the Weidelsburg is this large old quarry with a shelter. Stone was quarried here for the construction of the Weidelsburg.

Down into the Teufelsgraben and around the witch's head. Great hiking trail.

About 500 m down the path to the west below Weidelsburg is the “Katzenloch” leisure complex, owned by Hessen-Forst, Wolfhagen Forestry Office, a basalt quarry that was closed down in the 1960s. The long-distance hiking trails Habichtswaldsteig-Extratour H8 and the Huguenot-Waldenser-Pfad lead past it directly via the so-called zigzag path. There is no reliable evidence of the name “Katzenloch”. However, it can be assumed that it was derived from the natural stone name “Katzenköpfe”.
