"... The New Hagen near Niedersfeld is the largest high heath in North Rhine-Westphalia. The extraordinary landscape has its own fascination. Heath and raised bog are home to rare flora and fauna. The 800 meter high area is on the border with Hesse on the northern slope of the Clemensberg and has been under nature protection since 1955. Heidschnucken graze there, act as "biological lawnmowers" and thus ensure the preservation of the heather. Birds like cuckoo, capercaillie and goat milkers build their nests. The view from Clemensberg is wonderful and, when the visibility is good, unique, on the other side the Hochheide, I can only recommend it to everyone.

Small but nice and something to tinker with.

WATCH OUT!!! Don't go to the information center. There they gamble you off stones only with admission for the visit! After all, there are other ways to get to the stones without paying anything. The gamble on hikers who just come by just as much as those who park there.
