At the summit cross, the view of the surrounding valleys is simply fantastic

Easy to reach. Also suitable for families and dogs. If you don't want to hike from the valley to the summit, you can cover most of the altitude with the cable car. From the top, it's not far to the summit. We recommend the summit circular trail, which impresses with its flora and fauna.

The summit of the Almkopf is easy to reach. Most of the altitude can be covered with the Almkopfbahn or the Sonnalmbahn. From the mountain station it is not far to the summit. We recommend doing the small, beautiful circular hike. Also ideal for families. We were there in July and were able to admire numerous alpine plants. But the animal world up here is also fantastic. We were lucky enough to see chamois and an alpine salamander.
