If you want to get down from Remderoda quickly and MTB-friendly down to the valley on the B7-Schwabhausen cycle path, then this short but nice descent through the rocky and winding gorge is ideal. That's fun. Unfortunately really short.

it goes quite well from the bottom up if you have a little electrical support ... ;-)

partly quite washed out, steep, concreted diagonal sharp-edged water drainage channels, coarse stones ..... It's fun with a MTB ......

On the often very steep limestone slopes around Jena, not every marked hiking trail is suitable for mountain biking. This trail can be recommended for experienced mountain bikers in the direction from top to bottom. The trail is steep, but straight and easy to see, so you can easily adapt to the steps and root passages.

Coming from Kunitz you can take the road to Laasan - or much better with the MTB the Laasaner Oberweg over the meadows and fields and enjoy the view of the on the other side located Gleisberg. In the opposite direction, this is a nice flowige departure when you come down from Jenzig via Laasan.
