At Oranjezon, you can see how dunes form and change naturally. Sand blows from the beach to the base of the dune. The drifting sand is left behind small obstacles like shells or tufts of vegetation. This gradually creates a dune. It then grows, washes away, or moves through drifting sand. At Oranjezon, you can see many stages of dune formation, making it a Geological Monument. In the vicinity of Domburg you will find some beautiful properties such as Kasteel Westhove, more or less hidden in the forest.
