The Oostkerk, colloquially known today as "Fat Bertha," is a former Protestant church in Middelburg. Its octagonal architectural style with its impressive domed roof is both interesting and rare! Today, it serves as a concert and event venue, among other things.

Souburg Swing Bridge The Souburg Swing Bridge (Dutch: Draaibrug Souburg or Brug Souburg) is a pedestrian bridge over the Canal door Walcheren. It connects East Souburg with West Souburg in the Dutch municipality of Vlissingen, province of Zeeland. Originally built in 1871 as a half-timbered structure, the swing bridge was destroyed in World War II in 1944 and rebuilt with its current superstructure in 1947. It also served as a road bridge until 1978. It has been listed as a National Monument since 1997 and was extensively restored in 2014.
