The Wildrijk is a small, romantic forest near Sint Maartensvlotbrug. It is an old forest, one of the few that was spared when the North Holland Canal was dug and the agricultural land was set up. You hike on narrow, winding paths through the forest. Countless mushrooms grow here in autumn, but this forest is particularly special in spring. Then a sea of hyacinths grows in the forest between the ferns and wood anemones (end of April is the best time). There is also a bat bunker in the forest and many birds and butterflies live there. The well signposted round has about 2 km.
