Nice gravel / MTB path to avoid the crowds on the asphalt path between Rolde and Andere. Beautiful stream valley landscape in the western part, changing into a more wooded area towards Others. This path was once part of the railway line from Rolde to the low peat bogs in the east. There is a water point on the east side of this segment, nice to refill your water bottle. Part of this (double track) path is also used as an MTB route, which runs from east to west.

Challenging route with the necessary (steep) climbs.

The red route of Appelscha is a nice challenging route in the Boswachterij Appelscha. You will find nice flowy single trails with sharp short climbs and nice descents with, among other things, various carrot parties and some small drops. Fun turning and turning. A route that gives the more experienced rider a big smile!

Lovely flow trail through the forest with short steep climbs and fun descents. Quite a lot of carrot carpets, some small drops and therefore a beautiful playground!
