The Luosto consists of several peaks and together with the Pyhätunturi fell, which adjoins to the south-east, forms a 35-kilometre-long mountain range that clearly stands out from the flat surroundings. The Pyhänkasteenlampi Lake is crystal clear. The thick granite boulders are reflected in the surface and can be seen in the water. A very beautiful place and sacred to the Sami people.
