Warning (15/08/2023)! The footbridge is temporarily closed (cable break). It is however possible to cross below by the large rocks. This remains a delicate passage.

The Cascade de Pissevieille is a magnificent waterfall located in a picturesque natural setting. Its cascading waters create a mesmerizing spectacle as they descend from rocky cliffs, surrounded by lush vegetation. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of this waterfall and the peaceful ambience of its surroundings.

From the Roche Blanche belvedere, you have a beautiful promontory, perched at an altitude of 1,210 meters, to admire the Rousses plateau, the Noirmont, the Dôle, the Tuffes, the Morez valley, and if the weather permits allows the summit of Mont Blanc.

Resurgence of water coming from the Lac des Mortes. The Passerelle is a fun bridge that crosses the Bienne.

In summer you feel like you are in the jungle. Moss grows up to the tree tops and the air stands still. Coming from Rixouse you have to take a steep, narrow descent. The bridge and the waterfall themselves are not particularly spectacular compared to other waterfalls, but it is worth the detour from the main road.
