Cascade du Flumen, impressive.

In addition to its view of Lake Coiselet, the Oliferne peak is distinguished by a strange sculpture which stands in the middle of the ruins, like a guardian watching over a castle.

The promontory offers a sublime panorama of the Roche Fauconnière cirque. The site has been classified as a “sensitive natural area” since 1936. The 150 meter high cliff dominates the Semine valley and faces the Orvaz valley.

(Note: Shouldn't it be called 'Cascade de Vulvoz'?) This waterfall is beautiful! Also in October. We did not encounter any other hikers during the entire route, even at the waterfall we were completely alone. We started 'upstairs', also recommended. There are still walls with some windows still standing. And you see a bowl hollowed out by the water. Then we walked down - a slippery, steep path indeed. We thought it was worth it.

So many things to see from here! A beautiful view of Lake Coiselet and the Bienne valley. From here, you can also see the village of Chancia and the peak of Oliferne.

The waterfall is worth it and is a great reward! At the end of a descent into the enchanted forest, these monuments make the ground vibrate as much as the soul. The rest of the hike is memorable because of the positive elevation gain that challenges the calves and thighs. Thank you nature!
