La Roche Merveilleuse offers a magnificent panorama of Cilaos as well as the peaks and ramparts that surround it. As indicated on site, legend has it that women with fertility problems came to rub their bellies on this rock.

Absolutely unique experience! I have never seen a more beautiful starry sky. In the morning we could see the whole island from above, an incredible feeling!

You have to arrive early to have the chance to see the panorama, we made the round trip in one day, but we especially took advantage of the pouring rains of the afternoon and the mist! Arrived at the top, we did not have the expected panorama!!
