A walk around the lake is definitely worth it; the view from this side is simply amazing.

The Lünersee was once a natural mountain lake. The construction of a dam in 1959 transformed it into a reservoir with a capacity of 78.3 million m3. When full, the lake is 139 m deep. The circular trail around the lake is largely family-friendly and easy to walk.

The beautiful Partnunsee is located at 1,869 m. There are various fire pits, barbecue areas and benches. There is also a shelter with ready-made firewood. There were a total of 3 boats in the water, which you could use for 2 CHF (trust fund).

Great natural swimming pool in the centre of Brand with plenty of space to lie down.

Away from the busy road, nice view of the reservoir. As there is some coarse gravel, good tires are required (so not suitable for racing bikes).
