A pass in the heart of the Bauges Massif, the core zone of the nature reserve, with beautiful views, including the Arcalod, the highest peak of the massif, with good chances of spotting marmots below.
It is a superb summit, at an altitude of 1,841 meters. From here, we have an incredible panorama of the Bauges and Mont Blanc. A cross marks the top, where there is also a small orientation table.
Mont d'Armenaz is located at 2,158 meters above sea level. It is the sixth highest summit of the Bauges! With a little luck, you will come across chamois in the area.
