Exceptional site, on the list of obligatory passage points on the great Alpine road.

As its name suggests, the Col des Lacs is surrounded by delightful small bodies of water, at an altitude of 2,234 meters. It is located at the foot of the Pointe de la Grande Journe.

The road connecting Lac de Roselend with the Cormet de Roselend pass offers magnificent panoramic views of the artificial lake.

It is a very beautiful natural mountain lake located at 2,100 meters above sea level. It probably takes its name from the dark color of its waters.

Hardly any traffic and beautiful blue water!

From this landscape straight out of a fairy tale emanates a tranquility and a harmony of colors with shades of blue, green and gray. In the waters of this magnificent Beaufortain lake, the silhouette of Roc du Vent is reflected.

At 2,234 meters above sea level, the Col des Lacs offers a superb panorama of the high peaks of Beaufortain.

Located at 1750 meters above sea level with a depth of about 130 meters, this milky-colored lake was originally natural. The dam was built in 1942 to double its capacity.
