Magnificent lake! Accessible to all! As a bonus, you'll find ibexes and a few marmots if you're lucky. For the more courageous, you can climb to an altitude of 2,900 m by continuing on the path with a magnificent view if the sky is clear!

From Séchilienne, the climb is quite demanding, constantly between 10 and 15%. A small road with little traffic.

A small mountain lake at 1810 meters above sea level that often goes unnoticed due to its proximity to Roberts Lakes. Keep your eyes peeled for an alpine newt, and cut some pourettes (chives) for your evening meal.

Little known but very tough, the Col du Luitel offers a sustained ascent on its S side, with an average slope of ~10% over almost its 10km. S slope, therefore warm, but shaded. Narrow road, medium tarmac, little traffic. 9.9km, D+ 920m

Winter and summer alike, the lake is a popular destination for Grenoble residents. This body of water is easily accessible from the ski resort and is well worth the hike/run to experience it. The fun descent is still to come!
