산책하기에 아주 좋은 곳입니다. Trixhes에서 시작하여 채석장을 따라가는 작은 길을 따라 내려갈 수 있습니다. 아래로 내려가면 Roches 채석장에 도착합니다. 거기서부터 다양한 암석이 있는 두 개의 측면을 통과합니다. 계속 가면 "Houlbouse" 거리에 도착합니다. 그리고 마침내 Chokier에 도착합니다. 아주 멋진 하이킹입니다. 개와 함께, 특히 아이들과 함께 하기에 좋습니다.

Thanks to various valuable vegetation, hikers will definitely find something to their liking in this nature reserve. But this stream valley is also the perfect place for bird watching. Moreover, from the lookout tower you have a view over a beautiful part of the Herkwinning area. The cross-pollination between natural development and good nature management ensures that this is a diverse and valuable piece of greenery.

The Aux Roches nature reserve is a protected area covering approximately 20 hectares. It is characterized by its impressive limestone formations and steep cliffs. The flora is diverse, including rare species such as the yellow beetle and the bee ophrys. It is also an important habitat for local wildlife, notably bats and many cave birds. Marked trails allow visitors to discover the natural beauty of this site.

The confluence of the Ourthe and the Meuse is a scenic spot in the Belgian city of Liège, where the two rivers meet and merge. The Ourthe is a tributary of the Meuse that originates from the union of two branches, the Western Ourthe and the Eastern Ourthe, in the Ardennes region. The Ourthe flows through picturesque towns such as La Roche-en-Ardenne, Hotton and Durbuy, before joining the Meuse near the Angleur district of Liège. The confluence of the Ourthe and the Meuse is also a historical site, as it was here that the Battle of Liège took place in 1914, during the First World War. The Belgian army defended the city against the German invasion, using a ring of 12 forts around Liège. The forts were bombarded by heavy artillery and eventually surrendered, but the resistance of the Belgians delayed the German advance and allowed the French and British troops to mobilize.

very nice walk with lots of footpaths, lots of woods with beautiful vegetation, this walk can be used to start training to go hiking in more hilly places or even mid-mountains. Unfortunately the castle of Chokier burned down a few years ago which is a pity for the passage towards there, which does not prevent to make this super Rando.
