A beautiful, not too steep climb up to about 950 m above sea level along an old mule track. If you want to continue to the summit, you have to pay close attention to the red and white markings, which are becoming increasingly rare. In the treeless zone, there are occasionally cairns to help you orient yourself, but it is worth using GPS here even for mountain hikers with experience of walking in pathless terrain. The easiest way to climb is over the ridge on the right, but it is not advisable to climb in fog.

Great views in all directions from a summit strewn with large and small boulders. There is always a cool breeze here.

Stream that disappears into the mountain

The Grava di Vesalo is a deep karst chasm in the Laurino area, formed by the waters of the Milenzio stream which disappears underground and re-emerges after about 2 km to flow into the Calore river. It is one of the most important natural attractions of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park.
