Excellent point to take a break after the climb up to Trivigno alta. Numerous routes start from here, including the one that leads (after a short climb on asphalt and then dirt) to the first step of the Five Crazy Down - Padrio descent. If you agree with someone, there is a convenient car park where you can drop them off to save yourself the climb.

The Sentiero Valentina starts from the Piazza delle Sei Contrade, crosses meadows and woods, offering views of Aprica and Adamello. Instead of taking the official MTB route 32 on tarmac through Baruffini all the way down to Tirano, you can challenge yourself (and your brakes) on this incredibly steep trail. It starts on loose forest ground, then after passing Roncaiola, it's mostly cobblestone.

Just wow! The trail is constantly going up and down, never giving you any time to rest. I believe this is a perfect trail for eMTBs.

Casual trail, but you have to fight hard for it with a few meters of altitude beforehand. The trail itself always goes up and down and is exhausting.

A unique overview of Valtellina

A technically quite demanding, very beautiful trail with its countless curves, which starts just below the Varadega summit at 2500 meters altitude and is signposted as MTB tour B450. First you drive a few meters above gravel and loose rock until you reach the tree line again. There it is no less curvy about roots and stones downhill to a height of about 1500 meters. In the lower part of the trail is a bit flatter, but no less beautiful and finally leads back over forest roads to Grosio.
