Orso del Pradel is a 6m high and 8m long sculpture by the artist Martalar from Asiago (VN), built from 2000 larch roots from trees that were knocked down by Hurricane Vaia in 2018. Martalar has created similar sculptures with figures from the local animal and mythological world in several places in Trentino and Veneto, all of which were also affected by the storm. A total of 20 million trees in northern Italy were affected.
