이곳에는 슈바르츠바서 강을 가로지르는 오래된 슈바르츠바서 다리가 있습니다. 돌다리에는 몇 가지 볼거리가 있습니다. 다리 한쪽에는 물이 사암판에 인상적인 도랑과 균열을 형성했습니다. 다른 쪽에는 여름에 작은 섬이 강을 수영 장소로 이용할 수 있는 쾌적한 기회를 제공합니다. 더 앞쪽에는 더 새로운 슈바르츠바서 다리가 보입니다.

Finally – the ramp for slow-moving traffic is currently under construction. From the end of 2026, the steep ramp next to the stairs and the artwork by Richard Serra will finally be accessible.

Stupid climb to the bridge...but great view!

Gäggersteg, simply brilliant. Very well done, with safe paths through the area and forests. The climb is relatively steep. Good footwear recommended. A must if you are in the region. For young and old.

The “Gäggersteg” 🌲 is a highlight for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts! Start your tour in the Sensegräben nature reserve and follow the well-signposted path. The Gäggersteg itself is a spectacular wooden footbridge 🌉 that stretches over the forest areas destroyed by Storm Lothar and offers unique insights into the regeneration of nature 🌿. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Bernese Alps 🏔️ and the surrounding valleys. The path is easy to walk and ideal for families 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

There is a great book about the Schiffenensee, with lots of photos of what the valley looked like before it was dammed: "Schiffenensee - The sunken Saane valley".
