This beautiful nature area is located on the Danish North Sea coast between Henne Strand and Børsmose. The plantation consists mainly of pine trees. There is a parking lot near Petersholm Tower. Excavations had shown that the very low oak vegetation was actually the outer branch tips of oak trees, covered by a layer of sand several meters thick, which was deposited so slowly that the growth of the oak trees could keep pace with the sand deposition.
