I can't identify exactly what kind of tree this is. But its roots are gigantic, like a giant boulder. Look and be amazed.

The buttercup family (Ranunculaceae) usually blooms pure white in nature, but occasionally has petals with a slight pink tinge. The flowering period extends from March to May, but in mild regions, the wood anemone opens its blossoms as early as February.
