An 8.59 km circular trail with gentle inclines and many small and large highlights.

A classic circular trail around the Großer Eutiner See (Great Eutin Lake), partly along the shore or through the forest on natural paths with numerous views of Eutin. Benches invite you to rest along the trail. Highlights include the views of the lake, Eutin Castle and the castle garden (it's also worth taking a detour into the historic and lovingly landscaped kitchen garden), the historic bathing establishment, and the miniature golf course. The old town with its market square, the tourist information office, and other attractions are just a few minutes' walk from the castle.
