Munke Mose is a large, popular park in the heart of Odense, offering many recreational opportunities. One of these is a water playground, which is especially popular with children. The playground is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tales and features elements reminiscent of nature, such as large butterflies, tree stumps, and ducks. The playground includes a small water play area where children can play with the stream of water. It is designed for balancing on large lily pads or sliding down a slide. The water features are part of a larger playground area in the park, ideal for families. The park itself is located on the Odense Å River and also offers the opportunity to go canoeing or pedal boating.

It is recommended to follow the paths behind the fish ladder on foot - a true natural paradise!

The first Skovlyst restaurant was built in 1926 by farm owner Jens Andersen. He was interested in astronomy and built the 18-meter-high tower behind the restaurant in 1935. A telescope was placed at the top. Today, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Svanninge Bakker from the tower. Lerbjerg is the fourth highest point on Funen and is located in the Svanninge Mountains nature reserve, which is owned by the Bikuben Foundation. Lerbjerg is 126 meters high, and from the hill there is a fantastic view over South Funen and the South Funen archipelago. Brende Mølle is the millpond, now restored as a wetland. Bypass and fish ladders allow animals to roam freely through the area. The Brendedamm has been using hydroelectric power since the 16th century - most recently from 1912 to the end of the 1970s. It has now come to an end and the buildings have been restored to their original appearance. A completely new project was started in order to meet both the wishes for the preservation of the barrier and those for a green bridge. A water bypass and a fish ladder were built south of the pond.
