A nice circular tour around the Anninger and through the well-known wine towns of Gumpoldskirchen, Thallern and Pfaffstätten. The Thallern route is a varied mountain bike circular tour in the Vienna Woods, which leads for around 39 kilometers through idyllic wine towns, dense forests and rolling hills. With a mix of asphalt, gravel and forest paths, the tour offers both riding fun and impressive views of the rolling hills of the Vienna Woods. Tour data Difficulty: medium Distance: 38.71 km Ascent: 586 m Descent: 586 m Duration: 3:45 h Lowest point: 203 m Highest point: 426 m Surface: asphalt 61%, gravel 27%, forest/meadow 12% At the Thallern winery there is a short 200m push section along the railway to Mödling - it has already been marked as a cycle path!!! A really beautiful part of this route, but you should be careful in the autumn when the deeply dug path is full of leaves and you can easily miss branches and stones. And you don't want to have a technical breakdown up there.
