The path around Andrew’s Pond has several entry points around the neighborhood, including here at the pedestrian tunnel under St. Peters Road. Dogs are welcome on leash on these trails. They are open year-round, and the path around the pond creates a very nice natural escape, especially for being so close to a residential area.

This is a protected wetland area that many birds call home. You’ll often see ducks, geese, and herons in or near the vegetation along this section of the boardwalk.

Just a few steps from the Homestead Trail there is a small picnic area with a table. You can also reach the beach of New London Bay, which is right at your feet, from the area.

Great opportunity for a short break. You are surrounded by water, can look out over the dunes and observe animals.

Beautiful spot to stop for a bite to eat. There are many picnic tables along the route, about every 3km or so but this has an excellent view
