여기에서 아래 계곡을 구불구불 흐르는 Little Codroy 강과 그 너머로 펼쳐진 해안 평야와 주변 Long Range 산맥의 탁 트인 전망을 감상할 수 있습니다. 이곳은 Starlite Trail에서 도달할 수 있는 주요 전망대 중 하나이며, 맑은 날에는 강을 따라 해안까지 갈 수 있습니다. 높이 덕분에 Codroy 계곡의 규모를 위에서 제대로 볼 수 있습니다.

이 그림 같은 연못은 제2차 세계 대전 중 미군 장병들이 건설한 버마 로드 트레일 바로 옆에 있으며, 당시 연못은 배터리 펌프실로 사용되었습니다. 오늘날 조지스 연못은 훌륭한 전망대이자 여름철 멋진 수영 장소입니다.

Pippy Park stretches across forest, meadows, ponds, and hilltops on the north side of St. John’s. The park offers a wide mix of trails, viewpoints, picnic areas, and family-friendly spaces, along with access to Long Pond and several connector routes. It’s a go-to spot for walking, running, and cross-country skiing depending on the season, and provides a calm, nature-rich counterpoint to the city just beyond its borders. A versatile green space that anchors much of St. John’s outdoor recreation.

There is something magical about the isolated rock. A great beach where you can enjoy the peace and quiet.

Once you reach the end of the Coastal Trail, you can relax at this rest area before returning the same way.

Very nice trail partly along the coast, partly inland. Partly on wooden planks and always with many flowering plants.
