Cabane de Chouvet, tucked between the pines in the forested slopes of the Montbrison massif, is a simple wooden cabin. Inside, you’ll find a basic setup with space for 4–5 people, a stove, and a few pots and pans. A nearby spring provides fresh water.

Cabane de Grands Plan is a shepherd’s hut high up in the Narreyroux valley. Next to the hut, there’s a small renovated shelter that provides lodging for three people. A water tap, usually connected in the summer, is also available nearby.

The pass offers a small wooded plateau from which many hikes and cross-country skiing or hiking trails start. A car park not far away as well as a refuge allow easy access. A rock bar has been converted into a climbing spot for the summer.
