Former abandoned quarry that the volunteers of Amo (association of friends of monte orsa) have transformed into a welcoming space for walkers and nature lovers. The quarry is now a large terrace overlooking the Varese Pre-Alps and the Lombard plain, with wooden tables for a break, a covered area equipped with a small library. The site is completed with some finds of ancient machinery, once used for stone extraction, with educational panels illustrating its history and functioning.

Beautiful alp with 360 degree views over the entire region and easily reachable from Sagno.
