Rifugio Menaggio, located at 1383 m, offers unique views of Lake Como. It is the ideal base for climbing Monte Grona, with via ferratas or challenging trails. It can be reached easily even with road wheels, but from here on it is only advisable for MTB. Capanna Monte Bar is a refuge at 1600m with spectacular views of the Lugano pre-Alps, the perfect refreshment point before descending or you can also tie up your bike and go on beautiful excursions in the surrounding area.

The Capanna San Lucio is a refuge that can be reached starting from Val Cavargna or from Valcolla, the opposite Swiss valley.

A wonderful refuge located on the border between Italy and Switzerland, precisely in Valle Intelvi, you can easily reach it from Pian delle Alpi, from here you can go up to Sasso Gordona or even go down towards Switzerland.

Capanna Monte Bar is a refuge located at an altitude of 1,600 metres. It is located under the peak of the same name. Capanna Monte Bar offers spectacular views of the Lugano pre-Alps and is also the base for various hiking trails.
