Bivouac that you come across while climbing Mount Legnone

A beautiful and safe trail, from beech trees to larches, emerging onto a very scenic mountain pasture.

One of the best hike I’ve had so far. The view of the Como Lake all the way to Lugano is breathtaking. In rifugio Griera the food is great, totally recommend stopping by on your way up to the peak

A small stone hut located along the climb to Monte Legnone. Inside, there are a few benches, a stove (not in great condition), and a fireplace. It's spacious enough to accommodate a small group for a break or shelter in case of inclement weather. Located in a scenic and relatively sheltered area, it's a great place to take a break and/or refreshments before tackling the more technical section to the summit or during the descent.

Refugio before the pass to Mt. Legnone. Overnight accommodation possible. The locals drive up to here by car. Unfortunately, I didn't ask if there is electricity to charge the battery.

A nice place to take a short break before the climb. We also spotted ibexes here.

Route along a military road suitable for everyone although quite long but always on a constant and gentle slope. Very beautiful landscapes, with views of Lake Como but also of Lake Lugano, Monte Rosa and Punta del Cervino. From the refuge you can continue towards Mount Legnone.
