Fantastic waterfalls and pools are accessible via very elaborate wooden steps and bridges. In wet conditions, I would recommend only going uphill. There are two other options for the return journey: the paved path or the forest/hiking trail to the paid parking lot. Payment is possible not only with the app but also with coins. The entrance fee is entirely justified for the very complex repair of the many wooden steps and bridges.

A wild and romantic rock canyon with a doctorate in Spital am Pyhrn. Second longest gorge in Austria. Since he was also chairman of the SCHÖNERUNGSVEREIN, he tried very hard to make this wild and romantic, over 1.5 km long rock gorge accessible, hence the name. The Dr. Vogelgesangklamm was first made partly accessible for summer visitors at the time in 1906. In 1908 the gorge was destroyed by floods. 1926 - 1927 the municipality of Spital am Pyhrn prepared the entire rock gorge with stairs and footbridges that are anchored in the vertical rock for hiking through. When climbing the Dr.-Vogelgesang-Klamm there are about 500 steps to climb. These stairs and walkways are always carefully checked before they open at the beginning of May and then replaced or rebuilt.

Incredibly energetic, also suitable for smaller mountain fans. Very impressive how the natural spectacle fits so perfectly into the landscape. Good shoes are an advantage, some places are slightly slippery ... it's also a gorge ☺️ At the Bosruckhütte for a good snack or if you want more, there are some huts to explore.

The path through the gorge is more like a walk, because of the footbridges, the terrain is also quite easy. However, make better during the week since the gorge is rather crowded. Considering the well-kept jetties, the entrance fee of EUR 4.70 is quite reasonable.
