Very nicely located, the whole complex is well-kept and simply beautiful. The water in the moat looks almost "Maldivian" in color:-)

The beautiful Waldegg Castle was built at the end of the 17th century. Back then, it served as the summer residence of the mayor, Johann Viktor I von Besenval. Even if you don't immediately notice it in the small, pretty green, mossy house that seems to be half-sunk into the ground, it is, or rather "it was" the forerunner of today's refrigerator.
