The Große Dhünn Reservoir is a real highlight for cyclists who appreciate quiet routes and expansive landscapes. On the designated paths, you'll ride through a protected nature reserve with little traffic and plenty of space to enjoy nature. Long, steady stretches and beautiful views of the water make this section ideal for relaxed tours away from busy routes.

The paper fountain in Bergisch Gladbach is also called the waffle iron by locals. The red stripes around it are meant to represent a watermill wheel, and the wavy lines represent the Strunde River, a reference to papermaking.

Altenburg Cathedral is considered one of the most beautiful Gothic churches in Germany and is located in a charming landscape.

Gut Schiff is now an adventure farm. It's an old oil and powder mill dating back to the 16th century. A truly remarkable estate 🔝

The three-wing building in the German Renaissance style was constructed from 1905 to 1906 under the direction of Ludwig Bopp, a representative of the Munich School. The central building, which houses the council chamber, was constructed of local dolomite limestone. It features a columned portal, two gables, and a high hipped roof with a viewing lantern. A wing in the Bergisch style with a half-timbered upper floor and a simple, southern German-influenced plastered building were added to the sides. This building is decorated with a sundial and a mural depicting a view of the city from around 1800.
