Because of the wonderful location on Lake Thun, the possibilities for excursions throughout the Bernese Oberland (traffic hub), for a boat trip on the lake and because of the small castle museum, a visit is always worthwhile!

Due to its location, the Oberstockensee is often confused with the Hinterstockensee. It lies romantically in an almost circular depression and invites you to swim, barbecue and fish. When there is no wind, its surface reflects the surrounding landscape crystal clear. Incidentally, both lakes are absolute photo motifs that hardly an eye and certainly no camera can escape.
