Peak that is part of the FEEC list of 100 peaks where two states and three municipalities meet, Portbou, Cervera de la Marenda and Banyuls de la Marenda. The octagonal fortress Castell de Sant Ferran, covering 32 hectares, was built to accommodate 6,000 people and 500 horses. It is the largest bulwark fortress built in Europe in the 18th century.

Requesens Castle: this 11th century castle, which belonged to the counts of Rosselló, the Empúries and finally the Rocabertís, Viscounts of Peralada, was, like many others, in ruins in the 19th century.
