"The last house on the left in Germany," is how innkeeper Franz Holler describes his inn, located directly on the Czech border. Guests have been served here for almost 700 years, and the inn has been family-owned since 1623. The cozy inn is open only on Sundays and public holidays. It serves delicious snacks, cakes, and, as a specialty, homemade cookies.

Wonderful shelter in the forest, can be booked and is fully furnished.

In 1990, the local ski club, in collaboration with the Silberhütte Sports and Leisure Center, built a ski hut at the turning point of the cross-border cross-country ski trail on the site where the stately forester's lodge of the later-abandoned village of Goldbach once stood. The hut is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (in winter only until 4 p.m.).
