Shelter located by the lake, ideal for a one-night stay during a trekking tour.

The shelter is located on a hill with a magnificent view of Lake Vensjön. If you want to reach the shore, you can follow the path south for about 150 meters. The same distance northward, you'll come to the fork in the path between the two hiking trails (red and yellow). With luck, you'll find some firewood near the shelter. The fireplace is intact.

Very nice place with a shelter ≈5x3m with roof overhang and clothesline, sheltered rest area, fireplace with grill, 2x toilets, very good access to the lake on the eastern side

Very dusty in front and lots of ash from the fireplace. But easy to get to.

Access by bike via Wallby Säterie. Not via the hiking trail as Komoot suggests.

Overnight stay, barbecue, fire, wastepaper basket and toilet...simply great!

When touring around the lake, you should always follow the well-marked paths directly along the lake instead of the road, which unfortunately are not listed on Komoot.
