Dormillouse a mountain village located in the Ecrins Mountains. Very remote and only accessible on foot. The village has only a handful of inhabitants and is surrounded by beautiful nature. Gite has been built in the old school and, in addition to good food, also sleeping.

Be careful, this must-see is only worth it for its cairn and the view behind it. Otherwise, in the surroundings, it's all that you don't like during a mountain hike: 2 telecom pylons and their management cabins, 2 arrivals of ski lifts as well as to top it all off an altitude refreshment bar whose terrace crumbles.

Beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated B&B. Great welcome and the host gives great advice. Comfortable and very clean room with a good bed. The breakfast is extensive and certainly sufficient. And the surroundings and nature are beautiful

The school in the village of Dormillouse, now transformed into a pleasant gîte. Ideal for a stopover in the last alpine village of Ecrins.
