Glæret is a peak 380 metres above sea level. At the top, you have a superb view of Gryllefjord and its fjord.

The hike up Strytinden is highly recommended. It starts at a turning point, from there it goes a little higher up along the bank through a birch forest. In places you have to crawl over rubble. After that a relatively steep climb begins, initially open with outstanding views and then through a forest. The tree line is at around 280m, from there it is flat again before going over a large scree field to the summit. All in all: fantastic views throughout the entire hike. Beautiful 360 degree panorama at the top!

One of Senja's gorgeous peaks, which offers a truly breathtaking view in all directions. The ascent is exhausting, but always on well visible and easy to walk paths. Only the summit part is a bit exposed. The highest, dizzying point can be climbed relatively easily (with us, however, was also fantastic weather and absolute calm).
