Lomtjønna is a nice little lake on the trail between Haukland and Uttakleiv beaches. It's a nice place to take a breather on the challenging run up Himmeltindan.

This impressive lake is tucked between craggy mountain walls and only separated from the sea by a thin strip. It's used to provide drinking water for the locals and fishing is actively encouraged.

This beach is also good for camping and early in the morning there are still few people there. Free if you come by bike, otherwise you have to pay for the parking lot. (At Uttakleiv, camping costs ~20€ even without a car).

Great spot with swimming and the water stream! The camping area is a bit small, it is full of bushes and little spots of tent area. I came around 19-20 (25.7) and just got an doable spot. Also the toilet cost ( 15,00kr) and my time I think they didnt flush/work. So very busy place but amazing!

I recommend a circular walk from Uttakleiv Beach around the Veggen to Haukland beach. Car parked on one side and through a tunnel also back to the starting point.
