It is a wonderful protected nature reserve created from the redevelopment of an old mining site. The two lakes, in fact, arise in the old marl extraction excavations. The cycle/pedestrian paths develop within a protected area of high landscape value. The bridge was inaugurated on June 9, 2002. At this same point in 1955 the bridge that joined the hamlets of Camnago and Solzago, allowing the river to be crossed, collapsed due to intense rain. A landslide came off the mountain and ended up in the Cosia stream. An enormous mass of water came out of the banks of the stream, hit the valley and swept away some houses. The Baggero Oasis is the result of the environmental recovery of a large area previously used for mining, located between the municipalities of Merone, Monguzzo, Lambrugo and Lurago d'Erba.
