The sanctuary of the Madonna dei Boscaioli is located at the entrance of the Cadino Valley, on the road leading to the Manghen Pass. It consists of a chapel and a cave with wooden statues of the Madonna of Lourdes with Bernardette and a prayerful woodcutter in front of the Virgin. The cave was prepared between 1911 and 1913 by the leader of the lumberjack Quirino Prada from Molina di Fiemme, to receive help and support from the Madonna of Lourdes and to commemorate those who have lost their lives in the forests of the region. The statues of the Madonna of Lourdes and Bernardette are painted wooden sculptures from Val Gardena. The lumberjack statue was made by Aquilino Demarchi from Molina di Fiemme.
