If you need protection then it's certainly good, otherwise you don't need it.

The barbecue hut is open and can also be used as a shelter.

The Holenberg barbecue area is beautifully situated in the forest at the foot of the Vogler mountain. The site offers space for larger groups and, in addition to a barbecue and fire pit, also features a small shelter for when the weather isn't so good. Restroom facilities are also available on site.

Great view in the middle of the 555 square kilometer Solling-Vogler Nature Park. In the low mountain range, which consists primarily of red sandstone, there are around thirty mountains, eight of which are over four hundred meters high. The view from the Ebersnacken Tower is even more impressive.

Nice well-kept rest area with a roof and benches. There are display boards on site and children are also taken into account. There is a sandpit and a wooden train.
