The Alb Basin or Alb Dam is a reservoir in the Alb valley near St. Blasien (southern Black Forest). The gravity dam of the Alb reservoir is 28 m high. The dam between Schluchsee and the Rhine near Waldshut is part of the pumped storage network of Schluchseewerk AG.

Beautiful reservoir in the Albtal near St. Balsien. You can walk around it and even take a shortcut right in the middle over a beautiful wooden bridge. Can be done by bike or on foot.

Beautiful Albsee, around which you can walk or bike. Not far from there, also within walking distance, is the town of St. Blasien. Always worth a look.
